Sondel Family Veterinary Clinic
OFA Evaluations
Our veterinarians provide hip, elbow, and stifle Orthopaedic Foundation for Animals (OFA) exams and are qualified to take PennHIP radiographs for hip evaluation.
OFA Evaluations
Sondel Family Veterinary Clinic encourages breeders to research screening tests before breeding. One of the most popular tests available is offered by the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA) and evaluates the hips via radiograph for dysplasia. The OFA also offers a number of other screening tests that Sondel Family Veterinary Clinic can do including elbow dysplasia, basic cardiac, dentition, kidney database, patellar luxation, sebaceous adenitis, serum bile acids for liver shunt, shoulder osteochondrosis, spine, trachea for brachycephalic breeds, and thyroid.
The staff at SFVC have been doing OFA evaluations for over 20 years. Breeders come from afar for the experience and quality of testing done at SFVC
