Foreign Body Surgery
General anaesthesia is used to remove foreign bodies. Since there are dangers involved, blood tests will be performed to examine your pet’s complete blood count, liver function, and kidney function to see whether they require any further monitoring or care before, during, or after surgery.
Foreign Body Surgery
Pets have a tendency to consume everything. Some of them try to absorb things in addition to their diet. Pets occasionally swallow materials that cannot pass through their stomachs or intestines, despite the fact that many inedible objects may pass through their digestive system without injury. A gastrointestinal foreign body obstruction results from this.
Anything that is difficult to digest, such as string, clothing, sticks, children’s toys, bones, or trash, might result in foreign body blockages. Any location along the digestive system is susceptible to obstructions.
